Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual for a Medical Assistant Internship at Kartini Clinic, a pioneering clinic specializing in pediatric eating disorders. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of supporting children through a collaborative approach with our dedicated healthcare team.

As an intern under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), you will engage in various clinical tasks that will enhance your practical skills and provide valuable experience in the medical field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and record patient vitals on a daily basis.
  • Assist the RN in gathering essential information during patient screenings.
  • Support front office operations and manage call overflow.
  • Receive training in both front and back office procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a college program that offers internship credit.
  • Experience with Epic software is preferred.
  • Must demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and strong organizational skills.
  • Non-smoker required due to the pediatric focus of the clinic.
  • CPR certification is necessary.
  • Background check will be conducted upon hiring.

This internship is designed to last between 3 to 6 months, with flexible scheduling options available during weekdays. Please note that this is an on-site position, and we prioritize the safety of our staff and patients.
