Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Dobbs Truck Group. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of commercial trucks and equipment, working out of our fully equipped mobile service truck.

This is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of diesel engines, electrical systems, and other complex vehicle components. You will be expected to diagnose and repair a wide range of issues, from routine maintenance to complex repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial trucks and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, electrical systems, and other vehicle components
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, using a variety of diagnostic equipment and software
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to customer requests and fostering strong relationships
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of repairs and maintenance
Requirements
  • 4 years of experience as a Diesel/Service Technician
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License and a qualified MVR abstract
  • Minimum tool requirements (see below)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Great customer service skills
