Diesel Technician III Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician III to join our team at A&A Concrete Supply, Inc. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex diesel engine issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy equipment and trucks
  • Inspect and test brake systems, steering mechanisms, and other critical components
  • Specialize in repairing and troubleshooting major components such as engines, transmissions, and differentials
  • Assist in training other employees and serve as a mentor
Requirements:
  • 6 years of practical experience with tractor trailer maintenance
  • Proficiency in the use of all tools of trade, including welding equipment and diagnostic tools
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Excel, Word, and Fleet Management Systems
  • Valid driver's license and current CDL license with air brake certification
  • ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications required (Master T preferred)
Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on safety and efficiency. The employee will be required to work in a variety of settings, including outdoors and in a shop environment.

The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time. The employee must also be able to wear personal protective equipment, including a safety vest, hard hat, and ear protection.

Compensation:

The salary for this position is $40.00 per hour.
