Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and monitor ongoing projects within the geotechnical section to ensure timely execution that meets client specifications and adheres to company standards.
  • Lead the development of project proposals and cost assessments.
  • Manage daily operations of the section, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of team members, as well as ensuring project quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Division Manager on business development and client engagement initiatives.
  • Assist in establishing annual budgets for the section in partnership with the Division Manager.
  • Monitor and ensure the overall success and performance of the section.
  • Identify and manage project-related risks effectively.
  • Champion safety protocols within the team, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance project quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Geology with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Professional Engineering License is required.
