Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled MRI Scanner Specialist to join our team at Professional Performance Development Group, Inc. This is a full-time position that offers a stable and secure environment for experienced professionals in the field of magnetic resonance imaging.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art MRI scanners, performing a range of examinations, and providing exceptional patient care. As an MRI Scanner Specialist, you will work independently and as part of a dedicated team to ensure high-quality results and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform a variety of examinations, including but not limited to, body scans, joint exams, and vascular studies.
  • Position patients correctly, explain procedures, and provide reassurance to alleviate anxiety.
  • Set up and adjust scanning equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and minimal discomfort for patients.
  • Maintain accurate records, inputting data into the Composite Health Care System (CHCS) database, and complete administrative tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist, with a strong background in operating GE and Siemens MRI scanners.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, and current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Registered MR Technologist (R.T.MR (ARRT)).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care and teamwork.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
