- Efficiently bag groceries while preserving the quality of the items.
- Assist in stocking merchandise as required.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace at all times.
- A minimum of one year of experience in retail, preferably in grocery.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining urgency while ensuring excellent customer service and accuracy at the register.
- Effective communication skills with customers who primarily speak English.
- Dedicated to providing high-quality products, supporting local suppliers, and promoting environmental responsibility.
- A sense of humor and a passion for engaging with customers.
- Availability for a flexible schedule is necessary.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- In an 8-hour workday: standing or walking for 6-8 hours.
- Hand use includes single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
- Job involves motions such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
- Exposure to various temperatures: below 32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), and above 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Capability to work in a wet and cold environment.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
