Job Opportunity

Novatae Risk Group, a national wholesale brokerage, is seeking an experienced commercial Excess & Surplus Broker to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with insurance carriers, and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to acquire new business and expand existing relationships with insurance carriers.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of client needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their risk management goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client programs and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to ensure our clients receive the best possible solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, brokers, and other industry professionals to drive business growth and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in the wholesale insurance industry, with a strong understanding of commercial Excess & Surplus Lines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex risk management issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance, including coverages, rating, terminology, and technical procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, finance, or risk management.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the wholesale insurance industry, with a focus on commercial Excess & Surplus Lines.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance carriers, brokers, and other industry professionals, with the ability to build strong relationships and drive business growth.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
