Job Summary

Zelle HR Solutions is seeking a skilled Architectural CAD Technician/Project Manager to join our team in Columbus, NE. This role involves working within the Architectural Department to prepare scale drawings, manage client contact, and coordinate with chief architects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed drawings of various building types, including industrial, commercial, and educational projects.
  • Manage client relationships and coordinate with project leads to ensure project success.
  • Conduct site measurements and document existing conditions.
  • Create construction drawing sets and collaborate with engineering consultants.
  • Stay up-to-date with building codes, materials, and construction costs.
  • Perform document reproduction and printing tasks.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering consultants as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree preferred (2-year college or technical school)
  • 2-3 years of experience with AutoCAD/Revit software
  • 3-5 years of experience in construction project management
  • Familiarity with BIM (Revit) and proficiency in Sketch-up is a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and Word
  • Excellent keyboarding skills, attention to detail, and teamwork abilities
