Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team in a WOW (Work on Weekends) position. This role requires working every Saturday and Sunday, with premium pay in addition to competitive hourly rates and shift differential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate respiratory protocols and evaluate protocol steps, including all modalities of therapy.
  • Assess, develop, and evaluate care plans, ensuring appropriateness of respiratory care modalities.
  • Provide patient and family education related to medications and therapy modalities.
  • Participate in monitoring quality of care and organizing workflow to maintain smooth transitions between shifts.
  • Assist in day-to-day operations of respiratory care services, including documentation, billing, and supply management.
Requirements
  • One year of respiratory care experience.
  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
  • One of the following certifications: ACCS, NPS, Registered Respiratory Therapist (National), or Respiratory Therapist (State) (KY).
  • Desired: Three years of respiratory care experience, including critical care and neonatal resuscitation.
