Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the Electrophysiology Lab Manager or Supervisor, and in collaboration with the EP Cardiologist, the Electrophysiology Technician plays a crucial role in assisting during intra-cardiac EP studies and pacemaker implant procedures. This includes the collection and analysis of data, as well as performing all essential responsibilities of an electrophysiology technician.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute all functions of an electrophysiology technician.
2. Operate specialized equipment to monitor vital signs including blood pressure, oxygen saturation, electrocardiograms, and pressure in cardiac chambers and vessels.
3. Prepare patients for electrophysiology studies by setting up necessary monitors and operating related equipment.
4. Facilitate pacemaker follow-up appointments in the clinic and manage all relevant equipment.
5. Comply with hospital and departmental policies, procedures, and objectives while performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education: Required: Completion of an accredited Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist or Cardiovascular Technician program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Required: Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiology.
Certifications: Required: BLS certification.
