Job Description

BAE Systems USA is seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our Electrical Engineer Leadership Development Program. This three-year rotational program is designed to develop high potential, entry-level and early career engineers into effective future leaders.

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about electrical engineering and are eager to learn and grow with our company. As an Electrical Engineer in our Leadership Development Program, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging technical assignments with the guidance and mentorship of fellow engineers. You will also gain diverse technical experience through three 9-to-12-month rotations in various engineering areas and disciplines.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide solutions for our customers' greatest needs
  • Working on challenging technical assignments with the guidance and mentorship of fellow engineers
  • Gaining diverse technical experience through rotations in various engineering areas and disciplines
  • Growing your technical and business acumen in weekly technical courses taught by BAE Systems subject matter experts
  • Completing a graduate degree part-time with tuition reimbursement
  • Participating in quarterly leadership trainings and annual leadership conferences


Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Experience with a variety of extracurricular activities
  • Demonstrated collaboration and leadership abilities
  • Outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Dependable team player who demonstrates a strong work ethic


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
Electrical Engineering (EE), Electrical/Computer Engineering (ECE)
