As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, leading business development efforts, and overseeing the structural design of various building projects.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Lead efforts to secure new business opportunities and expand our client base.
- Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Project Management: Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Structural Design: Perform and lead the structural design of various building projects, including development of design documents, calculations, and specifications.
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor Project Engineers and BIM specialists to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
- Quality Control: Perform quality control and construction administration duties to ensure projects meet our high standards.
- Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering from a U.S. accredited college or university.
- Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in structural design of buildings and related structures.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer Licensure required. Illinois Structural Engineer Licensure preferred.
- Skills: Working knowledge of various structural analysis and design programs, including Revit.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
