About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Project Manager to join our dynamic team at JT Engineering, Inc. in Wisconsin. As a key member of our team, you will lead projects, demonstrate your expertise, and shape the trajectory of our services.

This role offers the chance to diversify your skill set across various civil engineering disciplines and be part of a team that genuinely values and lives by the principles of delivering trusted civil engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams to ensure quality work and develop, monitor, and manage project budgets.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and staffing, and effectively communicate with clients.
  • Ensure project-specific delivery requirements are met, and lead project pursuits, securing contract work, negotiating contracts, and providing updates as requested.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and development to staff, and develop and maintain client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and utilize internal resources to continuously enhance your professional skills, and participate in the design of routine and unique transportation-related structures in the State of Wisconsin.
  • Administer JT's Quality Assurance process for all projects.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience with multiple years leading projects.
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) License (preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical competence in developing and managing project budgets.
  • Knowledge of client standards and Quality Control processes.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to worksites, meetings with clients, and attend conferences.
  • To be legally authorized to work permanently in the country where this position is located.
  • To occasionally travel out-of-town and overnight for professional development and/or project-related work.
  • Knowledge of the use of common structural engineering codes, standards, and practices for the transportation structures industry in Wisconsin.
