Structural Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Project Manager to join our dynamic team at JT Engineering, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading projects, demonstrating expertise, and shaping the trajectory of our services. This role offers the opportunity to diversify your skill set across various civil engineering disciplines and contribute to our mission to improve infrastructure and make a positive impact in our communities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead project teams to ensure quality work and deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, ensuring effective financial management and control.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and staffing, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure project-specific delivery requirements are met, and that projects are completed to the highest standards.
- Lead project pursuits, secure contract work, negotiate contracts, and provide updates as requested.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and development to staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Develop and maintain client and stakeholder relationships, ensuring that our clients are satisfied with our services.
- Collaborate with colleagues and utilize internal resources to continuously enhance your professional skills and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- Administer JT's Quality Assurance process for all projects, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- 7+ years of relevant experience with multiple years leading projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License (preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical competence in developing and managing project budgets.
- Knowledge of client standards and Quality Control processes.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to worksites, meetings with clients, and attend conferences.
- To be legally authorized to work permanently in the country where this position is located.
- To occasionally travel out-of-town and overnight for professional development and/or project-related work.
- Knowledge of the use of common structural engineering codes, standards, and practices for the transportation structures industry in Wisconsin.
