Position Summary:

The Product Management team collaborates closely with customers, sales, and marketing departments to pinpoint promising vertical markets and customer requirements. This role involves working alongside engineers to guide products from their initial concept to market launch. As a member of the Product Management team, you will connect the technical and business realms, designing new products with highly skilled engineers and subsequently collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to successfully introduce these products to the market. Your contributions will be vital in the development of our next innovative video system products.

This position is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days in the office each week. Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance to the designated site. The role may involve early morning or late-night meetings with development teams located in different time zones.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify market-driven product solutions that align with business strategies by exploring new business opportunities, conducting market analysis, and staying informed about technological advancements and industry developments.
  • Engage in market research and user experience assessments in collaboration with customers in their operational settings.
  • Plan and execute field tests of camera solutions in real-world environments and various video management software platforms.
  • Define product strategies and communicate clear customer requirements to the development team, illustrating how business objectives can be achieved in the short, medium, and long term.
  • Oversee and guide the development of new products from inception to finalization, ensuring an optimal balance of performance and cost for the targeted market segment.
  • Collaborate with sales to prepare and strategize the launch of new solutions, including the creation of promotional materials and product information to maximize market impact.
  • Monitor product performance throughout its lifecycle and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Document, track, and manage the engineering process, assisting engineers and external partners with any technical challenges that may arise.
  • Effectively communicate product plans, benefits, and outcomes to various stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Work with a global product development team across different time zones, which may require early morning or late-night meetings.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent technical certification and relevant industry experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of product management experience, from concept to launch, in technical industries such as information technology, networking, security, building automation, or IoT.
  • At least 3 years of post-launch product experience, ensuring adherence to high-quality product standards.
  • Proven experience in defining product requirements, planning, and designing new product features and enhancements.
  • Experience managing the end-to-end process from product production to execution.
  • Skilled in delivering product presentations to diverse stakeholders, effectively informing and generating enthusiasm around proposed offerings.
  • Independent thinker with a strong sense of ownership and a hands-on approach to business challenges.
  • Ability to capture customer needs for product interaction design and optimize user experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Significant experience in an international environment, applying continuous improvement best practices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
