Position Overview
The Pool Service Attendant plays a crucial role in the hospitality team, ensuring guests receive a warm and inviting experience upon entering the pool area. This position involves delivering comprehensive Food & Beverage services to patrons enjoying the poolside environment.
- Greet guests warmly, using their names when known, with a genuine smile and engaging demeanor.
- Familiarize first-time visitors with the amenities and services available.
- Provide Food & Beverage service to guests lounging in cabanas and around the pool.
- Present menus with insightful descriptions of food and drink options.
- Accurately take and input food and beverage orders into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining cleanliness in the pool area.
- Act as a communication link between guests, management, service staff, and the kitchen.
- Exhibit professionalism and attentiveness throughout the guest experience.
- Perform side duties and offer poolside amenities.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a healthy work environment.
- Compensation: $23.00 per hour.
- At least one year of experience in the hospitality or foodservice sector.
- Strong knowledge of food and wine, preferably with experience in luxury hospitality settings.
- Must meet the minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Exemplary professional appearance and demeanor, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Ability to obtain necessary state and local certifications, such as food handler or alcohol service training, relevant to the role.
