Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Warehouse Personnel plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our logistics and inventory management systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate records of all merchandise received, including tagging items with receiving dates.
  • Organize and stock inventory in designated slots, ensuring proper stacking of overstock items.
  • Implement stock rotation procedures in accordance with established Work Instructions (WI) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Fulfill product picking requirements as specified on pick sheets.
  • Assist in loading products onto trailers as directed by the Supervisor.
  • Safely operate all warehouse equipment in compliance with company safety standards.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions to the Supervisor promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary warehouse environment in line with company policies.
  • Document time spent on tasks for daily productivity tracking.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks, following appropriate training.
  • Experience in a cGMP compliant setting is advantageous.
  • Must adhere to strict uniform and appearance standards.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Proficient in navigating Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience in warehouse or supply chain operations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with RF scanning devices is beneficial.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must successfully complete all preliminary employment screenings, including drug tests and background checks.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Job involves heavy lifting; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods is necessary.
  • Forklift operation requires acute hearing to monitor warehouse activity.
  • Must possess the ability to read at various distances, with or without corrective lenses.
  • Accurate identification and recording of lot and serial numbers is essential.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Work activities are conducted both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to varying temperatures.
  • Employees may encounter cold conditions while working in freezer areas; appropriate PPE will be provided.
  • Hazardous conditions may be present, including proximity to moving machinery and electrical components.

EQUIPMENT USED:

  • Equipment includes forklifts, floor scrubbers, and pallet jacks.
  • Utilization of RF scanning devices and related systems is required.
