KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders for accuracy.
  • Ensure all products are correctly recorded and labeled with receiving dates.
  • Maintain proper stock levels and organize overstock efficiently.
  • Rotate inventory according to established procedures.
  • Pick items based on provided pick sheets accurately.
  • Load products onto trailers as instructed by the supervisor.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse as per company standards.
  • Track time spent on tasks for daily productivity assessments.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks with appropriate training.
  • Experience in a cGMP compliant environment is advantageous.
  • Must adhere to strict uniform and appearance guidelines.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Proficient in navigating Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience in warehouse or supply chain settings is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with RF guns and scanners is a plus.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must successfully complete all preliminary employment screenings.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Position requires heavy lifting; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods is necessary.
  • Forklift operation requires good hearing to monitor warehouse activity.
  • Must possess the ability to read at various distances, with or without corrective lenses.
  • Accurate identification and recording of lot and serial numbers are essential.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Work takes place both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to varying temperatures.
  • Employees may encounter cold conditions while working in freezer areas, with provided PPE for safety.
  • Hazardous conditions may be present, including proximity to moving machinery and electrical hazards.

EQUIPMENT USED:

  • Forklifts, floor scrubbers, and pallet jacks.
  • RF scanning devices and related systems.
