Qualifications:
- Experience in automotive and engine repair or completion of auto mechanic training is required.
- ASE certifications are mandatory.
- A valid driver’s license is essential.
- Completion of an associate degree program in automotive maintenance and repair is preferred.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and deliver friendly customer service.
- Proficient in reading, interpreting, and documenting data to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Capability to perform routine maintenance tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience as a lube technician is beneficial, or willingness to undergo on-the-job training.
- Familiarity with automotive air-conditioning systems is advantageous.
- Proficient in using diagnostic equipment.
- Experience with heavy machinery and diesel mechanics is a plus, or readiness to receive on-the-job training.
- Good hand-eye coordination is necessary.
