POSITION SUMMARY
As a Ground Support Equipment Technician Level II, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of both motorized and non-motorized Airline & Aircraft Ground Service Equipment. This includes tugs, belt loaders, pushbacks, trucks, and more. Your role will involve performing advanced maintenance and repairs on a diverse array of ground support machinery.

WORK SCHEDULE
This position requires flexibility with shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as our operations run 24/7.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Exceed customer service expectations set by PrimeFlight.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to meet company standards.
  • Service equipment with necessary fluids including fuel, water, oil, and hydraulic fluid.
  • Document equipment requiring repairs with detailed descriptions of the work needed.
  • Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, replace, repair, overhaul, or modify various systems, including:
    • Engines and transmissions
    • Electrical systems
    • Braking systems
    • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
    • Bodywork and structural components
  • Remove, test, repair, or replace essential components such as carburetors and ignition systems.
  • Diagnose issues using testing equipment and relevant manuals.
  • Operate and assess ground equipment for performance.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and manage parts inventory.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • 3-5 years of verified experience in a similar role.
  • Must provide personal tools and toolbox.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality are required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in using electronic devices such as tablets and computers.
  • Valid State Driver's License with a safe driving record.
  • Pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to work any shift, including holidays.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking in various environments.
  • Capability to perform tasks in confined spaces and at elevated heights.
  • Exposure to varying noise levels and outdoor elements.
