Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

We are seeking an experienced LPN to join our team on a part-time, night shift basis.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall, in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

  • Delegate duties to professional nurses and non-professional nursing personnel and monitor work performance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Observe patients for symptoms and/or reactions, including general physical and/or mental condition for signs indicative of adverse change.
  • Notify attending physicians of emergencies and death of patients in the unit. Implement changes in orders as instructed or ordered by physicians.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a high school graduate.
  • Hold a valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • Be willing to work as charge nurses and during emergencies to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Have current CPR certification.
  • Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
Estimated Salary:

$45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
