Are you passionate about delivering exceptional patient care? UNC Health Care has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Support Tech I on our Cardiology and Oncology Stepdown Unit (COSU) team.

About the Role

This per diem position requires 6 hours of work per week, with a salary range of $17.50 - $24.63 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with professional caregivers to deliver high-quality patient care, transport patients and equipment, and maintain patient rooms.
  2. Conduct thorough reviews of patient care documentation, identifying any significant changes in the patient's condition and reporting them promptly to registered nurses or physicians.
  3. Support various administrative tasks, including organizing workload, answering phone calls, and maintaining medical records.
  4. Ensure accurate and efficient data entry, transcription of physician orders, and supply management.
  5. Deliver direct patient care services, such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and assisting with ambulation.
  6. Foster effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote seamless care transitions.
