About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Logistics Manager to join our team at TransForce. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the daily activities of our logistics personnel and functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the logistics department to optimize timely and accurate delivery of products
  • Promote staff compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including FDA, DOT, and OSHA regulations
  • Ensure vehicle safety, including daily vehicle inspections and reports, and maintenance regulations
  • Manage daily and on-call delivery employee schedules
  • Complete daily route preparation and assign additional routes as patient and referral requests are received
  • Perform special projects, such as researching methods to improve productivity and cut costs in the branch distribution function
  • Work with Corporate Purchasing on the ordering of special equipment and new products
  • Solve problems involving delivery staff shortages, route changes, and loading equipment
  • Monitor and maintain close contact with delivery staff throughout the day to troubleshoot problems and facilitate the completion of routes in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years of related supervisory experience or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years driving history required
  • Valid CDL with Hazardous Materials endorsement (may be required)
  • DOT requirements for operating a commercial motor vehicle (may be required)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous interaction with the general public in a service management industry
  • Experience with FDA, DOT, and OSHA regulations
  • Home Healthcare industry experience
  • Inventory management experience
  • 4 years supervisory experience
