Russell Tobin & Associates, a leading global music enterprise, is in search of a Merchandising Assistant in Philadelphia, PA.

Employment Type: Contract/Onsite

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Compensation: $14 - $15/hr, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front-End Experience & Site Merchandising:
  • Utilize sales analytics and consumer insights to enhance store merchandising (e.g., product positioning, categorization).
  • Implement upsell and cross-sell strategies to boost average order value.
    Facilitate product discovery by utilizing evergreen categories (e.g., top sellers, new arrivals) and curated experiences (e.g., themed collections, shopping guides).
  • Campaign & Promotion Strategy:
  • Assist in developing promotional strategies for new music and merchandise launches.
  • Support ongoing store campaigns during significant occasions (e.g., holidays, events, anniversaries).
  • Employ proven eCommerce tactics (e.g., discounts, gift-with-purchase initiatives, free shipping) to encourage sales.
  • Utilize social commerce and third-party sales platforms (e.g., Instagram Shopping, YouTube Merch Shelf) to engage customers effectively.
  • Customer Acquisition & Retention:
  • Assist in lead generation and customer acquisition initiatives (e.g., early access, sweepstakes).
  • Collaborate with the Audience and Paid Media teams on segmentation, targeting (e.g., triggered email flows, retargeting) and customer journeys that strengthen the fan-to-artist relationship.
  • Support retention and loyalty strategies (e.g., personalized product suggestions, rewards programs) to enhance Customer Lifetime Value (CLV).
  • Performance Analysis & Optimization:
  • Monitor, analyze, and report performance metrics to drive improvements and inform planning and strategy.
  • Generate reports for labels and rights holders.
  • Collect customer feedback through social listening.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant college coursework.
