The Diagnostician/Therapist is a critical member of our clinical team at FCC Behavioral Health, responsible for providing comprehensive assessments and developing individualized recovery care plans for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Eligibility Determination: Review assessment information and documentation, complete eligibility determinations within 24 hours of admission, and conduct face-to-face diagnostic interviews with clients.
- Diagnostic Interview and Screening: Conduct diagnostic interviews and complete all required admission screenings, demonstrating a working knowledge of the DSM and diagnostic criteria sets for substance use and mental health disorders.
- Recovery Care Plan Development: Develop recovery care plans with SMART goals, objectives, and interventions, ensuring written reports are completed in a timely manner.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work with the clinical team to assign clients to appropriate treatment services, maintain/improve professional competencies through training activities, and participate in clinical staffing meetings.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Adhere to evidence-based practice models, ensure program operations align with agency certification standards and strategic plan, and abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
- Provisional or fully licensed clinical social worker in the State of Missouri.
- At least one year of experience in treating persons with substance use disorders.
