We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate School Based Therapist to join our team at Community Counseling Center. As a School Based Therapist, you will provide direct clinical assessments and disposition of emergencies within the local public schools. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct admission services for various programs, coordinate and make appropriate referrals, ensure clients receive appropriate services, and conduct appropriate screenings and testing to guide referrals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a variety of mental health services in the school setting, including therapeutic interventions and crisis assessments.
- Document all interactions and interventions in a thorough and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with the school and family to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services as needed.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress and develop strategies for improvement.
- Master's degree in a mental health field (MSW, Clinical Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, etc.).
- Provisional therapy license required (PLPC/LMSW). LCSW or LPC also eligible.
- Previous experience providing crisis intervention, case management, and/or therapy is preferred.

Community Counseling Center is a behavioral health organization that has been serving the public since 1974. We are an administrative agent for the Missouri Department of Mental Health and provide a full array of comprehensive behavioral health services within our five-county catchment area.
