Job Summary

The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our cybersecurity product offerings. This role involves working closely with leads, engaging with new clients, negotiating terms, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, the ability to convince potential customers, and a deep understanding of our cybersecurity solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Follow-up
    • Engage with new leads provided by the Sales Director promptly and professionally.
    • Establish initial contact with potential customers and build a relationship.
    • Conduct needs assessments to understand the client's cybersecurity requirements.
  2. Customer Engagement
    • Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients to discuss their needs and present our cybersecurity solutions.
    • Provide detailed product information, demonstrations, and tailored proposals to prospective clients.
    • Address client inquiries and concerns effectively, providing accurate and timely information.
  3. Deal Negotiation and Closing
    • Negotiate terms and conditions with potential clients to close deals.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and contracts.
    • Work to achieve or exceed sales targets and quotas set by the Sales Director.
  4. Client Relationship Management
    • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure their needs are met and to foster long-term relationships.
    • Ensure smooth handover of closed deals to the account management or customer support team.
    • Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.
  5. Revenue Growth
    • Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and new leads.
    • Develop strategies to increase sales volume and market share.
    • Proactively seek ways to expand the client base and increase revenue through innovative sales approaches.
  6. Sales Process Management
    • Track and manage all interactions with leads and clients using CRM software.
    • Provide regular updates to the Sales Director on the status of leads and deals in the pipeline.
    • Analyze sales performance data and adjust strategies to improve effectiveness and close rates.
  7. Market Analysis and Reporting
    • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats.
    • Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams based on client interactions and market observations.
    • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  8. Collaboration
    • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns.
    • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure seamless implementation and support of cybersecurity solutions.
    • Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance overall business performance.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the cybersecurity or IT industry.
    • Proven track record of successfully closing deals and achieving sales targets. Experience with channel business development is a strong advantage.
  2. Skills and Competencies
    • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity products and services.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
    • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
