We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cardiology Nurse to join our esteemed team at Convergence in Stamford, CT. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize the Nursing Process to provide comprehensive patient care, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
- Supervise and mentor non-RN staff, serving as a valuable resource and role model for ancillary personnel.
- Adhere to Hospital policies, including the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, to maintain a culture of integrity and accountability.
- Deliver direct patient care to a designated patient group, serving as their advocate and champion.
- Develop and communicate individualized patient care plans that address patient concerns and propose interventions to achieve desired patient outcomes.
- Foster collaboration with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to execute the care plan effectively.
Work Schedule
Full-time nights, with a focus on providing exceptional care and support to our patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Hold a valid Registered Nurse license for the state of Connecticut.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is highly desirable.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a prerequisite.
- At least one year of experience in a similar role.
