Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a key member of our educational services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech therapy services to students with a range of communication challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Speech Therapy Services: Provide individualized speech therapy sessions to students, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques to address their unique communication needs.
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths and weaknesses, and develop personalized treatment plans to address their communication goals.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a comprehensive support system for students, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of services.
  • Progress Monitoring and Documentation: Regularly monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • IEP Participation: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing expert input to set realistic and impactful goals for students.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree: Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • SLP Licensure: Hold a Maryland SLP license or be eligible to obtain licensure.
  • ASHA Certification: Possess ASHA CCCs or be a Clinical Fellow.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience: While experience in a school setting is a plus, it is not required.
