Job Title: Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant

About the Job:
This is a unique opportunity to work as a Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant in the Lovejoy Independent School District. The successful candidate will provide support services to students with communication disorders, working closely with certified speech-language pathologists to develop individualized plans and implement therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist speech-language pathologists in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with communication disorders.
- Provide direct support to students in speech and language therapy sessions, including assisting with activities, monitoring progress, and reporting back to therapists.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and any other relevant information.

Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is competitive and based on experience, starting at $262.55 per day. Additionally, the Lovejoy Independent School District offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement planning, and paid time off.

Requirements and Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience working with children, especially those with special needs, is highly desirable.

Estimated Salary Range: Based on the location and industry standards, the estimated annual salary range for this position is between $52,459 and $64,452.
