Data Scientist, US Card Management

Capital One is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our US Card Management team. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for building and deploying machine learning models to empower core underwriting decisions in the management of existing credit card customers.
You will work closely with a cross-functional team of data engineers, platforms engineers, product managers, credit and business analysts to deliver solutions from ideation to implementation. Your expertise in machine learning, data analysis, and statistical modeling will be essential in driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions
- Build and deploy machine learning models using Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, Spark, and other technologies
- Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines
- Work with product managers to develop and implement data-driven product strategies
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in machine learning, data analysis, and statistical modeling
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other languages
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
