Job Title: Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist to join our team at Open Bionics. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for delivering state-of-the-art prosthetic solutions to our customers, providing exceptional patient care, and contributing to the growth and development of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality prosthetic services to Open Bionics customers, adhering to our core values and mission.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to Hero Arm users, empowering them to achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life.
  • Educate and certify prosthetic care providers on the Hero Arm fitting process, ensuring seamless integration into clinical practice.
  • Track performance metrics and customer feedback to inform growth strategies and optimize clinical workflows.
  • Collaborate with clinical partners to review potential users' eligibility for the Hero Arm and support trials as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies and products, ensuring they meet clinical needs and user expectations.
  • Participate in consumer and trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences to promote Open Bionics' solutions and build relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Orthotics and Prosthetics.
  • Previous experience in delivering prosthetic solutions for upper limb absence, including myoelectric/multiarticulating/bionic componentry, is advantageous.
  • Evidence-based practice approach to patient care, with a demonstrable understanding of Open Bionics' vision and mission.
  • Proficient in methods of shape capture and rectification, with experience in 3D scanning technologies and digital rectification platforms preferred.
  • Ability to outline an appropriate prosthetic prescription for upper limb absence and demonstrate creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent patient care and motivation to deliver exceptional patient experiences, with a focus on monitoring patient outcomes and creating successful patient outcomes defined by the patient.
