Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist to join our team at Open Bionics. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and providing training and support for our cutting-edge prosthetic solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality clinical services to our customers, adhering to our core values of innovation, empowerment, ambition, reliability, and equality.
  • Provide training and ongoing support for Hero Arm users, ensuring they achieve their personal goals and activities of daily living.
  • Educate and certify prosthetic care providers on the Hero Arm fitting process, promoting best practices and standards.
  • Track performance metrics and customer feedback to inform growth and improvement strategies.
  • Review potential users' eligibility for the Hero Arm and support trials with clinical partners, ensuring seamless adoption and funding.
  • Contribute to clinical research projects and publications, reinforcing the clinical value and benefits of our solutions.
  • Participate in consumer and trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences, showcasing our products and expertise.
Requirements
  • Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist with a strong background in upper limb prosthetics, preferably with experience in delivering prosthetic solutions for persons with upper limb absence.
  • Excellent patient care skills, with a patient-centered approach and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with our clinical team, developers, and external partners to drive growth and innovation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and educate users and care providers.
  • Proficient in shape capture and rectification methods, with experience in 3D scanning technologies and digital rectification platforms.
