Role Summary

RMC is seeking a Systems Software Engineer to contribute to the efforts at NSWC Crane. The ideal candidate will possess diverse experience in offering Information Assurance and Cybersecurity solutions for clients within the Department of Defense, along with development expertise in Service Now.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze user requirements and envision system features and functionalities.
  • Design and develop user interfaces while determining appropriate design methodologies.
  • Complete programming tasks and conduct thorough testing.
  • Oversee the creation of hybrid software, web, and hardware products from initial specifications to final deployment and maintenance.
  • Integrate various network operating systems, application programs, and hardware devices.
  • Manage the development cycle associated with creating resilient software, hardware, and web applications, including specification, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
  • Design, develop, support, and maintain the organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software.
Qualifications

Required:

  • One of the following certifications: CASP+, CISSP, or an equivalent DoD IAT-3 certification.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in systems engineering or software development.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • The candidate must possess the ability to obtain a security clearance; a DoD Interim Secret clearance is necessary to start.
