Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Nuclear Weapons Effects Analyst to join our team as a Senior Staff Systems Engineer. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design systems that will operate in extremely hostile environments using experience and education in radiation effects modeling and testing.
  • Guide and mentor a team of engineers in the science of nuclear weapon effects modeling and parts/equipment testing.
  • Perform total dose (TD), dose rate (DR), neutron displacement damage (NDD) and single event effect (SEE) heavy ion testing.
  • Conduct radiation effects circuit analyses, including TREE, SGEMP, and EMP.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics from an accredited university with Minimum 14 years of experience or 12 Years with Masters; 9 Years with PhD.
  • 10+ years experience in modeling and testing with respect to radiation effects.
  • 8+ years experience in nuclear weapon effects modeling and parts/equipment testing.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance with investigation in the last 6 years.
  • Ability to get a Top Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Weapon System Experience (Minuteman III or similar military or industry experience).
  • MBSE Experience.
  • Strong familiarity with MIL-STD-1766.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance.
