About the Role:

We are seeking a charismatic and attentive Host/Hostess to join our team at TGI Fridays. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and Welcome Guests: Greet incoming and departing guests warmly, making eye contact and using a genuine smile to create a positive first impression.
  • Manage Guest Flow: Use visual cues to seat guests in either the bar or dining area, depending on their preference, and inform them of current promotions and who will be serving them.
  • Provide Excellent Service: Promptly answer incoming calls, manage the flow of guests, and tend to special guest needs and requests.
  • Deliver Fridays Service Style: Follow all relevant brand standards to deliver exceptional service, ensuring a high-quality experience for our guests.

  • Identify and Handle Special Needs: Identify and handle special needs or requests from guests, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Ensure Expedient Seating: Ensure expedient seating of guests, taking into account their preferences and needs.

Measures of Success:

  • Follow Fridays Service Standards: Consistently follow Fridays service standards for greeting guests.
  • Guest Satisfaction Scores: Consistently meet or exceed guest satisfaction scores.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Communication Skills: Must be able to carry natural conversations with guests without sounding scripted or intrusive.
  • Menu Knowledge: Must be able to read menus and articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to walk and stand during entire shift, reach, bend, stoop, and wipe.
