Overview:
As a Room Service Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the hotel’s environment to ensure a safe and clean experience for guests, staff, and vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Restock linen closets with necessary amenities and supplies for room attendants; may involve delivering supplies directly to room attendants.
  • Clear room attendant carts of soiled linens and waste.
  • Clean and remove stains from corridor walls and doors. Polish and maintain mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
  • Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and lobbies.
  • Flip mattresses and rearrange furniture as directed by the supervisor.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and be available for regular shifts.
  • Perform any other job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous hotel experience is preferred.
  • Self-motivated personality with a positive attitude.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests.
  • Willingness to assist coworkers with their responsibilities and be a team player.
  • Capability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Lifting may involve equipment or furniture weighing up to 100 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences, including supervisors, coworkers, and the public.
