Responsibilities
  • Prepare examination materials, supplies, and equipment for patient visits
  • Gather patient history, vital signs, and medical data with precision and attention to detail
  • Deliver direct patient care, including vaccinations, medications, and wound management, with empathy and compassion
  • Collect, prepare, and analyze patient specimens accurately and efficiently
  • Instruct patients on preventive care and medication use effectively
  • Communicate test results and follow-up information to patients in a clear and timely manner
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and organizational performance
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards
Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and principles
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry and Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with insurance contract guidelines and regulations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field
  • Minimum five years of experience in a job-related setting
Working Conditions
  • May require manual skills and exposure to occupational hazards
  • Medium to heavy effort may be required, up to 35 pounds of force
