Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, negotiate, and manage government contracts and subcontracts to ensure proper acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Analyze estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Review contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications, and requirements, and conformance to master agreements.
  • Advise management on contractual rights and obligations and provide interpretation of terms and conditions.
  • Recommend changes to policies and establish procedures that affect the immediate organization.
  • Interpret and administer policies, processes, and procedures that may affect sections and subordinate work units.
Requirements
  • Expertise in Federal, DoD, Air Force, and SSC contracting processes and procedures.
  • Ability to assist government with all aspects of any contract action required by the program office, including solicitations, change proposals, funding modifications, and award, or incentive fee management.
  • Prior PCO or buyer experience preferred.
  • Highly desired: past or present experience with SSC or mission partner space control or space situational awareness mission area programs.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Master's degree with 8 years of relevant experience.
  • PhD or Juris Doctorate degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
Clearance

Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
