CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing CT scans, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring high-quality image production.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT exams following established protocols and procedures.
- Prepare procedure trays with necessary supplies and equipment.
- Take patient history and retrieve relevant orders or prior images.
- Provide patient education and answer questions regarding the exam.
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure timely completion of exams.
- Support ALARA principles and maintain a safe working environment.
- Start IVs for contrast administration and use power injectors as needed.
- Contribute to after-hour coverage through on-call shift rotations.
- Maintain licenses, certifications, and accreditations required for the position.
- Perform daily upkeep of departmental work areas and promote customer service initiatives.
- Support quality and performance improvement plans and comply with targeted metrics.
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
- Current ARRT certification with advanced registry or registry eligible with advanced CT certification within 1 year of hire.
- 1 year post-graduate experience preferred.
- BLS certification required.
