CT Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our diagnostic imaging department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT scans with precision and accuracy, ensuring high-quality images and excellent patient care.
- Prepare procedure trays with necessary supplies and equipment.
- Take patient history and retrieve relevant orders or prior images.
- Provide patient history and symptoms to radiologists as needed.
- Complete documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure all exams are completed in a timely manner.
- Support ALARA principles and promote radiation safety.
- Inform patients about procedures and answer questions in a clear and concise manner.
- Interact and communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and family members.
- Start IVs for contrast administration and use power injectors as needed.
- Contribute to after-hour coverage through on-call shift rotations.
- Maintain licenses, certifications, and accreditations required for the role.
- Perform daily upkeep of departmental work areas, including cleaning and stocking.
- Promote customer service initiatives and adhere to ICARE values.
- Support and participate in quality and performance improvement plans.
- Comply with quarterly targeted metrics and demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, and care of patients.
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
- Current ARRT certification with advanced registry, or registry eligible with advanced CT certification within 1 year of hire or within 6 months of eligibility.
- 1 year post-graduate experience preferred.
- BLS certification required.
