Job Summary:

As a Nurse Practitioner with Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our members. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Comprehensive Patient Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Order and Interpret Diagnostic Tests: Order laboratory, radiology, and other diagnostic tests as needed, and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.
  • Prescribe Medications and Treatments: Prescribe medications and treatments as authorized by your license and scope of practice.
  • Stay Current with Continuing Education: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Education: Master's degree in nursing or related field.
  • License and Certification: Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) license and certification in primary or specialty field.
  • Experience: One year of experience as an ARNP preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Eligibility for Prescriptive Authority: Eligible for prescriptive authority within six months of hire.
