Job Summary:

We are seeking an AutoCAD Specialist - Space Planner who will be primarily responsible for designing and coordinating the production of various print materials for NSG, Inc. publications and special projects. This role will contribute to the growth of our team by developing and managing space plans and occupancy data in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate designs with content information, ensuring alignment with messages and project goals.
  • Ensure accuracy of all plans produced, adhering to stakeholder guidelines as set by management.
  • Support overall team growth as a contributing team planner.
  • Create and build new space plans.
  • Develop and maintain Archibus Space Databases.
  • Assist in space management and occupancy planning.
  • Arrange and attend space planning department meetings or events.
  • Develop approaches to improve the quality of analysis, recommendations, and modular plans.
  • Serve as the combined process owner for the Manage Space and Occupancy process.
  • Collaborate effectively to develop real estate solutions, integrating with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge of AutoCAD and Archibus software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of effective and professional interaction with employees and clients.
  • Highly customer-focused with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in design or a related field preferred.
  • Previous work experience in building layout or design preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, or hear.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, bend, reach above the shoulders, or lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
