Position Overview:
The role involves welcoming patients, managing incoming calls, inputting essential patient information into the electronic health record system, facilitating patient check-ins and check-outs, confirming insurance details and referrals, as well as organizing appointment schedules. It is imperative to uphold patient confidentiality at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a warm and timely reception for patients upon arrival.
Register both new and returning patients, ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information.
Handle phone calls from the answering service at the start of each workday.
Maintain and manage the task list within the electronic health record system, assisting with reports as necessary.
Perform any additional tasks related to front office administrative functions as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of one (1) year of experience in an office or clerical role is preferred. Experience in a medical environment is advantageous. A professional demeanor with a strong focus on customer service is essential. Basic computer skills and typing proficiency are required.
Employment Details:
Job Type: Part-time, 9 AM - 3 PM
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Compensation: $14.00 per hour
