Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at SERVPRO Team Friermuth. As a key member of our reconstruction team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of reconstruction projects, delivering high-quality service to customers, and ensuring that all work performed complies with plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of reconstruction projects, including scheduling subcontractors and material suppliers, and ensuring that all work performed complies with plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including conducting pre-construction meetings with customers, setting expectations, and providing project updates.
  • Document all project activities in the job book, maintain quality standards through site inspections, and provide evaluation and rating of all vendors and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate inspections with local jurisdiction, identify areas outside of the contracted scope of work, and perform final walk-through with customer and secure a signed Completion of Completion and Certificate of Satisfaction from customer.
Requirements
  • Superb customer service track record, effective written and oral communication, and experience in restoration and/or construction.
  • High school diploma/GED, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred, and ability to successfully complete a Servpro required background check and drug screen subject to applicable law.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
  • Exposure to extreme conditions such as heat, walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing, ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights.
