Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will:
- Coordinate the interdisciplinary care plan for patients from admission to discharge.
- Develop a comprehensive care strategy that incorporates patient and family preferences.
- Monitor the medical necessity and care levels through assessments and evaluations.
- Advocate for necessary resources and address any barriers to care.
- Maintain communication with supervisors and care transition teams to ensure effective implementation of health plans.
- Serve as a resource for accurate medical record documentation and care recommendations.
Qualifications
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license from the Texas Board of Nursing.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school or required professional licensure at the time of hire.
