Job Title: RN Clinic Specialist

Ascension Seton is seeking a skilled RN Clinic Specialist to join our team in Austin, Texas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in a clinic setting, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in a clinic setting
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team
Requirements:
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR a bachelors level degree not in nursing, an active RN License, and enrolled in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year in the program completed
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years Min in Pediatrics
  • 2 RN Experience
  • Cleft Lip and Palate experience is a plus
  • ICU, NICU, ER, (Critical Care)
