We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Assistant Professor of Physical Chemistry to join our department. As a tenure-track faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the physical chemistry program, as well as contributing to the development of the department's research initiatives.
Responsibilities- Teach and develop courses in physical chemistry, including lectures, laboratories, and seminars
- Develop and maintain a research program that involves undergraduate students and contributes to the department's research initiatives
- Advise and mentor students in their academic and professional pursuits
- Participate in departmental and college-wide service activities, such as committee work and curriculum development
We are looking for candidates with a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field, with a strong background in physical chemistry. Postdoctoral experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to teach and mentor students, as well as a strong research record.
