Join us at American Career College as an Academic Records Coordinator, where you will play a vital role in overseeing, managing, and verifying student academic records and attendance documentation for a vibrant campus community.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring the accuracy and preservation of academic records; performing audits, maintaining a digital filing system, and systematically purging records in line with established guidelines and protocols.

Delivering exceptional service in alignment with the mission and values of American Career College while ensuring adherence to established policies and compliance with federal, state, and relevant regulatory bodies within the education sector.

You will contribute by:

Acting as the official guardian of student academic records for the designated campus.

Updating and managing the digital student information system in accordance with accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

Processing updates and ensuring accurate student statuses within the information system (including withdrawals, leaves of absence, and graduations).

Ensuring that student and administrative files are maintained in accordance with established protocols.

Conducting thorough reviews and audits of student files to confirm that all necessary documentation has been requested and received, proactively seeking out and securing any missing records.

Qualifications:


A minimum of two to three years of experience in a college records office, focusing on transcript evaluation, degree audits, file management, student records, registration, admissions, attendance, grades, and record-keeping.

Familiarity with secondary and postsecondary educational programs.


Understanding of state, federal, and accreditation regulations related to educational programs, compliance, and other regulatory standards such as BPPE, Title IV, ABHES, and various programmatic accreditation standards.


Educational Background:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Associate degree in a relevant field preferred:
Education Administration, Business Management, or Student Personnel.
