Job Summary

DeZURIK is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers and representatives. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely and effective customer service and support to customers and representatives
• Analyze material availability to quote deliveries and offer alternatives to meet customer delivery requirements
• Monitor and expedite orders through order entry, engineering, and manufacturing to meet customer/rep required dates
• Communicate order status and delivery concerns to internal sales personnel, representatives, and customers
• Resolve shipping discrepancies and provide tracking information to customers and representatives

Requirements

• High school diploma plus 2-year associate degree
• 3 years of experience in customer service role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Prior experience with manufacturing drawings and processes, and familiarity with shop and assembly processes preferred
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
• Strong keyboarding proficiency required and experience in working with Excel & Word

Working Conditions

Normal manufacturing and office environment. When working occasionally in some shop areas, personal protection equipment (PPE) will be recommended and/or required (safety shoes, safety glasses w/side shields, hearing protection, face shield, gloves, apron, and boots). Must have the ability to support extended business hours to meet customer business needs.
